Today's post features my latest venue discovery: The San Juan Hills Golf Club. Just south of the famous Mission San Juan Capistrano, this venue is perfect for the bride looking for an intimate south county location that features soft rolling hills, new facilities with a rustic, equestrian vibe, and indoor/outdoor options. The golf club features multiple outdoor areas for ceremony (ask them about the First Tee or the Wedge), as well as several areas for cocktails and reception. I love the First Tee Patio (seen below in the first several photographs)--I can just imagine a late summer wedding here with a view of the golf course and the hills, dancing under strings of twinkle lights and watching the sunset with your family and friends! Their Greenview Room is also lovely with its high ceilings, exposed beams, Mission-style windows, and best of all--one entire wall opens up to show off the view of the hills giving your guests the best of both worlds (dining inside while visually taking in the outdoors!).
This styled shoot couldn't have come together without the generous talent and contributions of highly-vetted local vendors! Please see the complete list at the end of the post
Major shout-out to the following folks:
Linens by Fusion Linens (check out that frilly rosette tablecloth!); tabletop design and floral arrangements by Fantasy Florals (owner Amanda is SO creative and a truly wonderful soul, so much more than a florist--I highly recommend working with her!); wedding ceremony site florals by The Flower Girl; a mix of classic and new music was provided by Steve Burdick; and last but definitely not least--beautiful vintage furniture supplied by one of Orange County's most trusted and well-stocked furniture rental services, Found Vintage Rentals. Also special thanks to Stacey Strausbaugh, special events coordinator of San Juan Hills Golf Club, for pulling it all together--it definitely takes a team to make a shoot like this happen!
